Any society which has properly affiliated can be nominated for this award. This award will be presented to the Society which is deemed to have been most active, useful or interesting to students and markets itself effectively to the entire sutdent body during this affiliation period. Whether raising awareness or raising money, this event had it all. It was well publicised, had a great attendance and definately achieved its purpose.

The student who has just started volunteering - but already you are wondering how your group, society, committee managed without them. Not only do they work hard but they brind new fresh ideas with them.

The student who can turn their hand to anything and make it work. This is a busy person who always manages to get the job done. They are involved in mnay aspects of The Union from different Association Committees to the various volunteer groups.

The student nominated for this award should be a volunteer who seems to do all the work without the glory. Someone who works hard behind the scenes or someone who does the less glamorous jobs, but is depended upon to make sure it happens.

Student Leader of the Year Award

The student nominated for this award should be any student who has shown good leadership skills this year. They may have been responsible for, or organised a group of students and led them into successfully achieving a coluntary project or their objectives. Alternatively they may have inspired you to try harder, acted as a guide or taught you a new skill.

The student nominated for this award should be a volunteer whom you believe to be the most dedicated or to have worked the hardest in their particular area(s) of volunteering. They have proved themselves to be one of the Association's greatest assets.

This award is for someone who makes an outstanding contribution through their volunteering role in the community, showing exceptional commitment, service, creativity or leadership.
