Social Events

We know that postgraduate students and in particular PhD students can often be located all around the campus. The Students Association runs various events throughout the year from live comedy to club nights, quizzes to live music and all students are welcome to come along. Check out the Events page for more information.

On top of the regular events we also run bus tours around Scotland, theatre trips and film nights which are popular with postgraduates. Every October we have a FREE postgraduate Ceilidh which is always a very busy. We also run film nights, quizzes, Coffee Connections, BBQ’s and theatre trips.

There will also be regular social activities within your Schools, particularly for Research Postgraduates to give you the opportunity to get together and meet new people. These will be organized by your student representatives who will be in regular contact with you. For a list of School Representatives please see representation section.
