Here is some common sense advice to make this Christmas Party one to remember.

• Avoid drinking on an empty stomach – food slows down the absorption of alcohol. Geordies Catering outlet will be open all day until 4am.
• Pace yourself, there’s no rush – drink slowly
• It's going to be a hot day, so drink plenty water and watch you don't get sunburn
• Include soft drinks in your celebration
• Don’t leave yourself vulnerable – plan your journey home

You don’t have to be 18 to use The Union but you do have to be 18 to drink alcohol. In order to prove this you must bring proof of age identification.
